Sacramental Information

Reconciliation

"Peace is my gift to you..."

Confession - Saturday at 3:30 p.m. or by arrangement with the pastor.

Care of the Sick

"Come to me you who are weary..."

Please contact the rectory office to arrange for a pastoral visit to a family member who is sick, confined at home, hospitalized, or in a nursing home. Arrangements for the reception of the Sacrament of the Eucharist can be made through the rectory office. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are available to bring communion to shut-ins on a weekly basis. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is administered the first Saturday of each month after the 9 a.m. Mass and also upon request.

Adult Instruction and RCIA

"Go and teach all nations..."

Adults interested in the Catholic faith are invited to contact the rectory office for information about Adult Inquiry Classes, the Catechumenate, and preparation for adult reception of the Sacraments of Christian Initiation.

For those who have been asked to be sponsors at Baptism or Confirmation, we gladly issue letters of recommendation for parishioners who:

  • are baptized and confirmed

  • are at least 16 years old

  • are registered as parishioners for at least six months

  • if married, have done so in conformity with the laws of the Church

  • if they are parents, share their faith and enrich their children's lives by sending their children to a Catholic school or religious instruction

  • if they are students, are attending a Catholic school or religious instruction

Sacrament of Baptism

"Unless you are born again..."

The parish celebrates this beautiful sacrament regularly.  Parents are requested to contact Carol Costello (433-0340) to make arrangements for preparation sessions.

Sacrament of Matrimony

"What God has joined..."

Engaged couples are requested to phone the rectory office to make an appointment with the parish priest to set the date and time of their wedding at least six months in advance.
